Explorer Gazette

Henry Hudson was a experienced sailor. England hired him to find the Northwest Passage.  In 1610 h e found and sailed along the 450 mile long Hudson Strait.  While he was on his search the bay he was in froze over.  He and his crew had to stay in a log cabin all winter.  After the bay thawed out they continued exploring.  His angry crew threw him and 8 other loyal crew members into a small boat without ores.  They have never been heard from since.  I think that he and his crew died of starvation and de-hydration in the boat.Because they had no ores it would take to long to paddle ashore.
